One API call to one recipient counts as one email against your transactional volume. Marketing broadcasts are unlimited and never touch that volume — marketing is priced by contacts.
What happens if I go over my limit?
Nothing stops. Extra emails are billed at a flat $0.75 per 1,000 on your next invoice. We never cut off your sending.
Do transactional and marketing share a plan?
